About us
The MacInSteins Macintosh User Group is a
friendly, informal
association of people who enjoy helping each other get more out of
their Apple Macintosh computers, the Mac Operating System, and other
Apple products (iPhone, iPod, iPod Touch, etc.). We have been meeting
continuously since 1986 with membership averaging between 30 to 40
individuals/families.
All levels of experience are welcome!
Whether you’re a new Mac owner, someone who’s just thinking about buying a Mac, or an “Apple Corps” veteran, come to a MacInSteins meeting and see what we’re all about. Visitors are always welcome - whether you already have a Mac or not - and there’s absolutely no cost or obligation to visit. Should you decide to join our User Group, we will even prorate the $12 annual (Oct. to Sep.) dues.
The first half of each meeting is usually a presentation/discussion on a subject of interest to the members. After a refreshment break, the second half of the meeting is a question-and-answer period, and no question is too elementary (we’re very kind to Macintosh - or computer of any kind - “newbies”).
